How to trade indoor with us in 2024

ALL TRADERS

We welcome local (within 25mile radius of Trowbridge Town Hall), independent traders who are largely artisanal by nature, selling original and interesting items.

Indoor traders, please complete the online application form to register your details and request the month(s) you wish to trade.

Outdoor traders, please see the instructions here to apply to trade with us.

RETURNING TRADERS: If you have traded with us before and have our bank details, you are welcome to pay for some or all of your pitch fees to secure your booking. Payment must be made at least two weeks before each market.

NEW TRADERS: If you have never traded with us, the Organising Committee will review your application and get back to you about whether you’ve been accepted.

If you are accepted we will contact you about the agreed dates and you can then pay via bank transfer or PayPal. Payment can be made up front to secure your booking, or can be paid at least two weeks before each market. Please make sure you include your trading name and market month/s as a reference. Please don’t make a payment until you have received confirmation that we have available space. Stand spaces are only secured once payment is received and we use a waitlist system for any pitches still available in the two weeks prior to each market.

INDOOR VENUE: Emmanuel’s Yard. (October - November - December only)

Emmanuel’s Yard is in Church Street with access from Union Street. There is very limited space in Church Street so we ask traders to arrive as close as possible to their allocated time, unload into the gateway at the street entrance, park their vehicles and then return to move their goods into Emmanuel’s Yard.

You will be sent a link to simple form requesting public liability insurance details and a risk assessment. You will not be allowed to to set up at the market without this information. Inside traders must have a minimum of £1m PLI.

A week before each market you will receive an email stating your location and arrival time.

Then it’s just a matter of turning up at the market/s!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations at least 7 days prior to a market receive a full refund or can be rolled over to another market. Cancellations less than 7 days prior are not refundable.

If the organisers cancel a market a full refund for affected traders is automatic. In bad weather the indoor venue will still trade and outdoor traders will be offered any spare indoor pitches.
