We are excited to announce that Green Top Markets will be running our administration and logistics to free up the time and creativity of our volunteer market committee!

What's going to change?

The main difference is going to be the booking process in the lead up to each market. Green Top Markets have an enviable streamlined booking system, so hopefully you'll find it a better experience anyway!

Arrival times at the market are from 8am to 9:15am, every 15 minutes. You will be told the Wednesday before each market when to arrive.

On market day, you probably won't notice anything different except there will be gazebos and tables already set up for you. The usual volunteers will all be there to greet you - they might just be a little less stressed than normal because they've got more people to help with the set-up.

As usual, the market will run in Fore Street but the times have changed to 10am-3pm and there will be no indoor market until the winter. 

What do you get?

A 3m x 3m pitch for £35 with the option to have a gazebo and 2m table provided at no extra cost! But you can elect to bring your own set-up. Please note that no sides of the gazebos will be provided.

Trading at the Trowbridge Weavers Market

Registering with Green Top Markets:

  1. As soon as possible, register to trade with Green Top Markets here. You only have to do this once. Please make sure that you put 'Trowbridge' after your trading organising title so that they know you are applying for this market.

  2. Within 24 hours you will hear back from them if they need further information to approve you in their system.

Booking and Paying to trade at the Trowbridge Weavers Market:

  1. Bookings open on the Green Top Market system 55 days before each market. They will appear closed until you login to the system.

  2. Traders within 30 miles of Trowbridge have priority booking but you should still get in quickly and book as soon as possible.

  3. You must pay within 7 days of booking or it will be cancelled. 

Getting ready for the market:

  1. Look out for our posts and share our exciting extra market news on social media! 

  2. Receive an email the Wednesday before the market telling you when to turn up

  3. Prepare for the volunteer committee to contact you with creative ways to run workshops, live demonstrations and other exciting activities to improve the offerings at our future markets!

Market Day:

  1. Arrive on market day and either set up as usual, or set up extra quickly because the gazebo and table were already there for you!

  2. Trade as normal and enjoy the day
